I will be probably purchasing a used handgun.

I searched around for awhile but didnt have much luck finding it in the archives, though I know it's around.

Depends on what you are looking for dude. Calibre and brand inclination. My personal defence is a walther P99 9mm. Good unit stable and carries 16+1. enough to keep me out of trouble. But I would go for an alternative Sig 229 or if am not too concerend about concealing a 226. Or the sig Pro for carrying everyday. Light and reliable.

I am a little old school on handguns, bit imo you cant beat a good smith and wesson 357.

I've never purchased anything from him but he gets a lot of police trade-ins and has good prices. Just because they are police trades don't assume they are worn out, many of his handguns are like new. Mostly Glocks and S&W but also a few Sigs and misc. stuff.

If you're looking for FTF sales (and it is legal in your state) try these. Just use the search function searching only the For Sale sections with the name of cities close to you.

Also try www.cdnnsports.com they have a downloadable catalog that has really good prices on both new and used guns. They will ship to any licensed FFL dealer. I have bought 2 guns from them so far and they have been very reliable and great to deal with.
